"One More from the Heart"
to benefit Totally Kids Specialty Health Care Center.

The Starting Gate Restaurant and Saloon has been good to our guild by letting us sell our quilt raffle tickets at
their Bike Nights. Now they are asking for our help for a great cause.

Totally Kids Specialty Health Care is a home near Loma Linda University Medical Center for the care of
developmentally disabled and technology dependent children. They care for very fragile infants and children.
Most won't live to adulthood. They get a little public funding but get nothing for the "bells and whistles" of
life. That is where you can help. Find something on the following list and bring it to our November meeting.
The Starting Gate will be taking a truckload of donations to Totally Kids on Veteran's Day, Nov. 11. They will
be led by the Viet Nam Vets M/C, of which my husband is a member.

The items on this list don't have to be brand new, just in really great condition. They would love to have some
bright crib and twin size quilts for the children. (It says comforters, but they don't know the difference). If you
need flannel for the backing, we have some available - Contact me.

Bring small items to our guild meeting on Nov.1. Large items may be brought to The Starting Gate at any time
before Nov. 11. The Starting Gate is in Los Alamitos on Katella, across from 24 Hour Fitness (Between Walker
and Bloomfield).

Thanks for your help for these helpless children. My husband went last year and he said it was heartbreaking
seeing all the children who couldn't live at home with their families. Anything we can do to brighten their lives
will be a blessing to them.
