Shar Taira teaches sashiko and shibori, and some of the best pieces from her classes are in this quilt, along with some of her personal favorites. Beautiful blues and gold colors are prominent on the front of the quilt while the back has a fabric with Japanese pottery. The finished quilt was custom quilted by Sharon Kerlagon.
