Using the suggestions from the questionnaire, the Giver is asked to bring a gift for the Recipient on the meeting dates listed below. The gifts should cost between $15.00 and $20.00, or be a block or handcrafted item you made. The gift(s) may be something from the questionnaire or just a warm fuzzy you think that person would appreciate. Remember, it’s OK to use your discount coupons or get sale items if you think this person would appreciate them.

Gifts will be exchanged at the following meetings:

• September 1, 2022
• December 1, 2022
• February 2, 2023
• May 4, 2023

The gifts should be wrapped/bagged and tagged with the Recipient's name clearly marked. These gifts will be placed on the table/counter designated as the SECRET PAL DROP OFF at the start of the meeting. During the break or after the meeting please look for the gift with your name on it as a Recipient. (It's more fun if you don't watch the table and keep the secret of who might be dropping something with your name on it ...)

What if my recipient is not present at the meeting?

• If your recipient is not present at the meeting, please take your gift home with you and bring it back at the following meeting.

What if I cannot attend a meeting when gifts are due?

• Please email Diane Sanchez if you are not able to attend a meeting when gifts are due so that she knows what's happening.
• You can use the buddy system to ask a friend to bring your gift for you, or ... 
• You can simply bring your gift to the next meeting. 

Periodically, it is encouraging for the Recipient to send a Thank You note and/or token to the giver. This can be done in the same way as the gifts are exchanged: by placing them on the Secret Pal Drop Off table/counter. The envelope should read “To (your name goes here)’s Secret Pal.

In April 2023 recipients will receive a copy of information from the Giver’s form. This form can be used to find a “Thank You” gift for the Pal who has been surprising you and thinking about you and learning about you for the last few months.

The final gift exchange will take place during the May 2022 meeting. Please bring a final gift for your recipient and a Thank You gift for the person giving to you.

- mail it via snail mail to Diane (mailing address in your roster)
