Sewing for San Carlos Apache Reservation
Join us in bringing some comfort.

Join Us in February
A fun time was had by all at our community sewing days on February 26-27 where we made quilts for the San Carlos Apache Reservation.
We made 48 quilts and donated 275 pillowcases and a variety of other items as well. The Acacia quilts will look beautiful on 40 new beds donated by Knott Avenue Christian Church.
If you were one of the quilters who supported this special sewing event, a hearty thank you!

Why Beds (and Quilts)?
Beds and quilts provide safety, security, and mental, emotional, and spiritual rest that is sorely in need in a community that is among the poorest in the United States and where suicide is a leading cause of death among adolescents. Please help us to help the kids of San Carlos, Arizona, and their families.
We will be making flip-and-sew strip quilts and pillowcases at the workshop. Quilters and other crafters are also welcome to donate other quilts, fleece or crocheted blankets, and baby items.
If you are unable to join us for sewing, you are more than welcome to stop by and drop off items for donation.Sewing for San Carlos Apache Reservation
